After learning how to use Adobe platforms, generative AI and website developers, I have been curious about making projects in my free time to gain experience and expand my portfolio.
Run the Race app
I ran cross country and track in middle and high school, and my team and I joked that our sport was every other sport’s punishment. It was hard. But at our Christian school, we focused on Bible verses each mile to push through the pain and run for someone greater. I recently got the idea to create a social running app that maps your runs and provides encouraging Bible verses with each mile. Using Base44, I generated prompts to make my idea come to life in a website app.
Magazine Mock-up
My next project is currently in the works. After visiting the Southern Living headquarters in Birmingham with the Auburn College of Liberal Arts, I left inspired to design a magazine cover and pages of my own. In this project, I am taking photos of my college home, designing a magazine cover and pages, and writing articles about how to turn a college house into a home, the tourist attraction called Botanic in Auburn/Opelika, Southern cooking and fashion.
